Responsible for the general upkeep of the local network at the company's corporate office. Responsibilities include researching and implementing ways to speed up network traffic without creating a high cost for the company, fixing any broken computers, preventing hacking attempts and virus attacks, and controlling user access rights. Installed many features to improve the network such as a Microsoft IIS server and a Linux run mail server.

Worked with a team of 3-5 people in order to help maintain and run the local network. In charge of ensuring network security through virus and hacking protection along with setting up new computers and new users with the correct access privileges. Was placed in charge of setting up the server connections for the company website. Responsible for reporting any problems to upper management and creating spending requests when new equipment was needed.
