Building supervisors are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of public and private buildings. They supervise workers in custodial services and grounds maintenance. Building supervisors also inspect buildings and create schedules. They are responsible for preparing reports for maintenance needed and supply requisitions. Sometimes, the building supervisor is responsible for interviewing and hiring staff as well as all other supervisor related duties.
